Welcome to JuriStack. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JuriStack legal practice management platform ("Service"), operated by JuriStack (Pty) Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
JuriStack is a cloud-based legal practice management platform designed for South African law firms and legal practitioners. The Service includes:
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password used to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected subscription plan. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law.
We reserve the right to modify subscription fees upon 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after fee changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership over any content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JuriStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
You may export your data at any time during your subscription. After termination, we will retain your data for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted unless required by law to retain it longer.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any changes becoming effective. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
